Gerard Schwarz, conductor Chi Ting, Flute Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Symphony No. 35 in D major, K. 385 opens the program with a festive and bold four movement work from 1782. Often referred to as the “Haffner” Symphony, named after the Haffner family who commissioned the work.
